This page explains which cookies and similar tools bedouin.it uses, what they are for, who receives the data and how you can change your choices. Until you give us permission the site uses a single cookie, the one that remembers your choice: statistics and advertising only start if you accept them from the banner.

What cookies are

They are small text files that the site saves in your browser. Some are needed to make the site work and don't require your permission. The others, the ones that count visits or are used for advertising, we only use if you say yes. The same goes for similar tools, such as browser storage and pixels.

Statistics

Only with your consent. We use Google Analytics 4 to find out how many people visit the site and which pages they read. If you accept statistics only, Google does not use this data for advertising.

Marketing

Only with your consent. We use Google Ads and the Meta pixel to understand whether our ads bring in enquiries and to show them again to people who have already visited the site. These tools are also loaded by Google Tag Manager, which writes no cookies of its own.

Services that write no cookies but receive data

Hosting. The site is hosted by Hostinger, which receives the technical data of every visit (IP address, browser, page) to run and protect it.

Quote request. The “Request a quote” form opens on hello.bedouin.it, a separate site with its own privacy notice.

Instagram and Facebook. The site only contains links to our pages: we load nothing from social networks until you open them.

Data outside the European Union

Google LLC and Meta Platforms Inc. are based in the United States. They take part in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as adequate on 10 July 2023. You can check this on theofficial list.

How to change your choices

You can accept, reject or withdraw your consent whenever you like, as easily as you gave it: use the button below or the “Cookie preferences” link at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the statistics and marketing cookies from your browser.

How long we remember your choice

If you reject or close the banner with the X, we won't ask you again for 6 months. If you accept, your consent lasts 12 months, then we ask you again. We ask again sooner if the list of cookies on this page changes.

When you make a choice we keep a copy of it on our server: a random code, the version of this page, your choices and the date. We do not save your IP address or your browser. We need it to prove consent, as the GDPR requires, and we keep it for 24 months.

Why we are allowed to do this

The necessary cookie does not require consent (art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Statistics and marketing are based on your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), as set out in the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021. Hosting is based on our interest in running the site (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
